Magazine Design

I created this magazine layout with a focus on visual fundamentals, drawing inspiration from the art design principles of constructivism and infusing elements reminiscent of Chanel.

My magazine project earned me a nomination for the 2023 Student Media Awards.

The software I used for this was Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator & Adobe InDesign.

Book Cover

I designed this book cover with a focus on visual fundamentals, incorporating words from the book ‘Goosebumps’ into the character Slappy.

Process

I developed this book cover using the double diamond design process, using Illustrator.

Websites & Prototypes

Here are some of the Websites & Prototypes I have made using HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Figma.

Process
  1. Planning: Define the website’s purpose, target audience, and key goals. Outline the site structure, content, and functionalities needed to achieve these objectives.
  2. Design: Create wireframes or mock-ups to visualize the layout, user interface, and overall aesthetics. Design graphics, choose color schemes, and ensure a cohesive visual identity.
  3. Development: Write code using HTML, CSS, and possibly JavaScript or other programming languages to bring the design to life. This step involves creating web pages, integrating functionalities, and ensuring responsiveness across devices.
  4. Content Creation: Develop and curate compelling content including text, images, videos, and other media. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user engagement.
  5. Testing: Conduct thorough testing to check for functionality, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices. Debug any issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
  6. Launch: Once everything is tested and approved, launch the website. This involves making it live on the internet, often involving domain registration and hosting setup.
  7. Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update content, perform maintenance tasks, and implement security measures to keep the website running smoothly and securely. Continuously analyze performance metrics and user feedback to make improvements.
